As young children, we were best friends. Barb came to sleep over with me at our camp. We spent many happy hours laughing, talking, walking to the beach and paying the card game "Crazy Eights". As teenagers, Barb would often come to my house in Falmouth. My parents loved her.
When I decided to get married, I asked her to be my Maid of Honor. We had a wonderful day. The best man was my brother, who was asked to drive Barb, and my new husband & I to my parents house. We had a beautiful convertable at that time. It was very windy that day, and Barb's hat/veil was blowing and my wedding dress was almost over my head. We laughed so hard. Great memories.
When she got married and moved to Mount Desert, we didn't see each other as often as we wished, but we burned a whole on the telephone wires.
I miss my friend so much. Love to all the family. I would like to talk to Barb's sister Carole. Please give my e-mail address to her. Thank you. Pam
