I had Dr. Becky Herrick-Wanbaugh at UMPI for various history classes from 1974-graduation in 1978. She is one of the main reasons I have a minor in history. I always enjoyed her classes as she made them relevant and fun. I looked forward to seeing was she was teaching every semester and would rearrange my schedule to be able to take that class.

I was sorry to learn of her passing but wanted to share that she was one of the best teachers I ever had, bar none. 

My condolences to her family but know that I remember her fondly and always credit her when I refer to any historical facts in my English classes.
