Lamoine -- Margaret (Peggy) Baez, lovingly known as Vovo by many, passed away surrounded by her children on March 14, 2017. She was born January 8, 1940 to Joseph and Alice Carriera of Fall River, Massachusetts.

Peggy is pre-deceased by her parents, brother David Carriera, and her sister Delores Scott. She is survived by her brother Tony Carriera and wife Roxanne of Fall River; her sister Carol Corderio and husband John of Fall River; her daughter Julie and her husband David Herrick of Lamoine; her son Glenn and his wife Sue Baez of Hancock; her daughter JoAnne and husband Lewie Romer of Trenton; grandchildren David Herrick Jr. and girlfriend Kayla Howard, Anne Herrick, Ashton Romer and girlfriend Jen Leathers, Chris and wife Melissa Baez, and Tyler Baez; great-grandchildren, Sterling Herrick, Madaline Herrick, and soon to be born Riley Romer; and several nieces and nephews.

Peggy loved spending time with her family and especially when her grandchildren stopped for visits often. She enjoyed many elementary school sporting events, concerts and plays to watch her grandchildren. She was a talented artist, and gifted her toll painted creations with many friends and family members over the years.

Family & friends are welcomed to come pay their respects as the family gathers to remember Peggy, Saturday, March 25th 3 pm, at Glenn's home, 162 Douglas Hwy, Lamoine.
