Anne B.  Black (Bragdon)
Brooksville -- Anne B. Black, 73, died on February 21, 2017 at a Deer Isle healthcare facility. She was born in Franklin, April 28, 1943, daughter of Manley E. and Elizabeth (Fickett) Bragdon.

Anne grew up in Blue Hill and graduated from George Stevens Academy. In 1974, Anne and Edward M. Black were married in Brooksville. Anne was Ed’s partner and best friend in everything for their 42 years together. She was a member of the Brooksville Community Center Board. Anne enjoyed cooking, traveling, gardening, hunting, and loved spending time with her family and friends, and raising their three daughters with Ed.

She is survived by her husband Edward; daughters, Toni Staples and husband Troy, Teri Rabasca and significant other John, and Tami Mcguan and husband Greg; grandchildren, Meg, Chesley, Tyler, Cameron, Logan, Chloe and Nola; sister, Mary Allen and husband Ronald; brother, Manley Bragdon, Jr; and several nieces, nephews and special feline friend, Tilley. She was predeceased by her parents; sister-in-law, Geraldine Bragdon.

A celebration of life will be held 12:00 noon, February 25, 2017 at the Brooksville Community Center.
