Obituary for Robert L. "Bob" Harding

Robert L. "Bob"  Harding
Surry -- Robert L. (Bob) Harding, 63, passed away unexpectedly April 20, 2016. He was born in Bar Harbor, March 15, 1953, the son of Vaughn and Dorothy (Young) Harding.

He graduated from MDI High School, class of 1972. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and worked at Verso Paper Mill for many years. He loved to ride his motorcycle, play pool, cook, travel, and spend time with his family and dog, Booger.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Lisa Scott and companion Jason Berry of Waltham; granddaughter, Audreyauna Shepard and husband Matt; great-granddaughter, Alexsa of Deer Isle; sister, Shirley Fabbri; brother-in-law, Mike Kmita; half-brother, Percy Harding Sr. and wife Erlene; Aunt Connie Pierce and husband David; Uncle Elwood Young and wife Gloria; family friends, Mike and Suzy Shepard; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Rosemary Scott Harding; sister, Betty; and half-sister, Lillian.

Calling hours will be held 5:00-7:00, Friday, May 6, 2016 at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St. Ellsworth. A private graveside service will be at Burnt Cove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations in Robert’s memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105
