The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Wallace Officer can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Sarah Duncan Riley
Condolence: My uncle, Wallace B. Officer, will be remembered by me as a very generous, kind and supportive person. My fondest memories of him are when I was in college and visited him and Aunt Roberta at their summer home in Maine. I only wish I had taken advantage of his many offers to visit more often.
I extend my deepest sympathy to his family and friends who must miss him very much, as will I.

Condolence From: Chuck Officer
Condolence: Very sorry to hear about uncle Wally's passing. Molly and I remember fondly our visits when we lived in MD and also when he came to Minneapolis just prior to my Dad's death. My Dad also spoke a lot of his visits to Maine with all of you in his final years. Thank you so much for your kindness and support of him. Both of them led good and honorable lives and have always made me proud to be an Officer. Please know you are in our prayers and we also thank Wally, and all of you, for your service to our country.....Chuck
