Kate and family. I am truly saddened by the news of Courtney's passing. I met Courtney while serving as Code Enforcement Officer for the Town of Cranberry Isles, and more recently as Code Enforcement Officer for the Town of Mount Desert. Courtney was always so friendly and respectful in our work interactions and also just passing on the street. When he was uncertain about something that had to do with codes, he would always call and ask me about it. During our work conversations, he would always ask me about my family. He was genuinely interested in how my family was doing, and he really didn't even know me that well. That was just the kind of guy he was, friendly. He was super proud of his family. He always had a big smile on his face when talking about his kids, as a proud and loving Dad should. He will be missed by all that had the privilege of knowing him. Rest in Peace, Courtney.
