I will miss seeing the love she had for me shining out of her eyes. From the little girl who thought I was beautiful and cool, to the young woman who found comfort and joy in our conversations - well, she held a special place in my heart. She made me feel like I was a better person than I am. She did that for people she loved. She loved fully and with her whole heart. She was honest and raw and completely herself at all times. I will always remember the camping trip to Prince Edward Island and sleeping under the sky. I loved dancing with her in Eastport on the 4th of July with hundreds of navy guys in uniform. She lived life with passion. If you had her love, you had something special and unique and irreplaceable indeed. Rest in Peace Nina. This world is too harsh for the great souls. Yours was so great it shone out of you. I was shocked at the news of her death but it seems to me all the best of us leave us too soon. Be with God and the angels and know that one day we will see each other on the other side...
