He moved back to Bar Harbor, where he promptly started remodeling his home and building a garage. Satisfied with the garage he built an amazing wood shop in the upstairs of the garage. He built numerous items for Helen and the house.
It didn’t take long for him to find a second home at Jordan’s Restaurant. He prided himself as being one of the first ones there every morning. Saturday was his day with his best friend Ed Jackson. Early Saturday mornings you could find them in Ellsworth for breakfast then a trip to Home Depot.
He is survived by his longtime partner Helen Gill. His ex-wife Lynn Richmond, his daughter Denice Young, his grandchildren Aaron Young, Ayden Young and great grandson Weston Young. He was predeceased by his son Reid Bryant.
