Obituary for Brian Edward Leighton
Blue Hill/Milbridge -- Brian Edward Leighton, 60, passed away February 23, 2018 at his home in Milbridge. He was born in Blue Hill, May 29, 1957 the son of Sheldon and the late Priscilla (Jones) Leighton.
He is survived by his father of Blue Hill; brothers, David Leighton of Vinalhaven, Dana Leighton and wife Cathy of Stockton Springs; sister, Carol Doyle and husband Michael of Franklin, TN; aunts, Nancy (Jones) Hatch of Clifton, Phyllis (Leighton) Pemberton of Blue Hill; many nephews, especially Arthur Leighton of Waterville; cousins, especially Jim Leighton and wife Sarah of Southington, CT. He was predeceased by his mother; and nephew Derek Leighton.
The Leighton family wants to thank the people at the Milbridge Residence for all they have done for Brian and others who live with mental illness. May God bless them all.
