Dorothy M. Johnson, 89, died February 27, 2018 at an Ellsworth healthcare facility. She was born November 30, 1928 in Bristol, CT. the daughter of George and Marie (Faulkingham) Dobbins.

She was a graduate of Jonesport High School. Dorothy was a homemaker the majority of her life and enjoyed gardening and needle point.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Ronald Johnson and wife Garnet Stillwell of Bass Harbor; a daughter, Cynthia McFarland and husband Eddie of Southwest Harbor; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Carl “Nick” Johnson in 2010 and a brother, George Dobbins, Jr.


Private graveside Services will be held in the spring at Mt. Height Cemetery, Southwest Harbor.
