Obituary for Brendon S. Morrison

Brendon S.  Morrison
Hancock -- Brendon S. Morrison, 17, passed away on February 1, 2018. He was born January 22, 2001 in Ellsworth, the son of R. Scott Morrison and Anneliese (Lombard) Craig of Hancock.

Brendon was a junior at Sumner Memorial High School, where he participated in various after school activities, as well as attending the Hancock County Technical Center’s Multi-Media Program. He also worked part time at Pat’s Pizza in Ellsworth. Brendon had a variety of interests throughout his childhood. Having an extremely creative and inventive mind, he enjoyed being outdoors and finding items through his play to explore, build and create. Brendon loved bike riding, swimming, and hiking with his family. As he got older he developed a strong interest in pursuing landscaping as a profession after high school. He was an avid lover of animals. Brendon enjoyed photographing them. He was especially fond of his pet cats.

Brendon is survived by his parents, R. Scott Morrison, and mother Anneliese Craig and husband Jason, all of Hancock; his sister Kayla Morrison; and his nephew Greyson; his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Lombard of Harmony; his paternal grandfather, Bruce Morrison of Hancock; step brother and sisters, Cameron, Hannah, Hailey and Cassie Craig of Trenton; his aunt, Kim Morrison and cousin, Trevor Morrison along with several other aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., February 17, 2018 at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St in Ellsworth. Immediately following will be a reception. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that consideration of donations be made to the SPCA of Hancock County, 141 Bar Harbor Rd, Trenton, 04605.
