Trenton -- John Francis Rybarczyk, Jr. died December 31, 2017 at his home. He was born in Baltimore, MD, September 6, 1946 the son of John F. and Gertrude (Kahl) Rybarczyk, Sr.

John was a quiet American hero who served his country as a Vietnam veteran in the US Army. Upon return he joined the Baltimore City Police Department and served as an officer for 25 years. John spent his retirement in Maine with his wife, Trudi Pendley. He enjoyed the outdoor wonders of Acadia National Park. He loved hiking, gardening and feeding the vast array of wildlife around his home.

He is survived by his wife Trudi Pendley; daughter, Dawn Wolf (Ed) of Havre de Grace, MD, son, Michael Rybarczyk (Kathleen) of MD, stepdaughter, Tabatha McKay and husband Christopher Bush of Polk City, IA, stepson, Robert McKay (Nikki) of Trenton; five grandchildren; sister, Patricia Nadolny of Pikesville, MD; brother, Greg Rybarczyk of Baltimore, MD; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.
