Condolence: My thoughts and prayers go out to you. I met Andy when I was stationed in SW Hbr in the early '90's. He always had a smile on his face and a laugh, something I will always remember about him.

Condolence: I met Andy while I was stationed on board the CG Cutter Bridle in southwest harbor. We quickly became friends as we shared a love for the ocean. I always enjoyed hearing his funny stories coupled with his Maine accent! I often remember seeing Andy's beautiful lobster boat while our ship was underway. I always admired the Lost Airmen and hoped to build one myself one day. My wife is from Southwest harbor and when I told her I had met this hilarious character at work she immediately knew and remembered him. Her father was Andys boss in the CG many years before when my wife was a young pre-teen. She remembered visiting her dad at work and after seeing Andy, quickly discovered she had quite the "crush" on him!! I'm not sure I ever told Andy that but I can imagine he would have got a kick out of that. My deepest condolences to his family. He was truely a great, passionate, caring and hilarious person that I will never forget! Rest easy Andy, enjoy the ocean view from heaven.
