Obituary for Jeannine T. Sargent (Tracy)

Jeannine T.  Sargent (Tracy)
Trenton -- Jeannine T. Sargent, 88, died November 24, 2017 at Seaport Village Healthcare. She was born in Ellsworth, July 19, 1929 the daughter of Clyde V. and Fern S. (Richmond) Tracy.

Jeannine attended school in Ellsworth and graduated from Ellsworth High School. She married Roger H. Sargent, September 1, 1945 and they moved to Orono while Roger completed his college degree. They moved back to Ellsworth and she raised her three sons. After they were in middle school, she started working part-time at M.A. Clark Florist Shop. She was a wonderful homemaker; loved cooking, baking, sewing, gardening and especially oil painting and pencil drawings. Jeannine was a lifelong member of the Ellsworth Congregational Church.

She is survived by her sons, Stephen Sargent and partner Emilie Jones of Surry, Mark Sargent and wife Pamela of Otis, and Paul Sargent and wife Suzanne of Ellsworth; grandchildren, Benjamin Sargent and girlfriend Danielle Harriman, Jonethan Moore and wife Susan, and Mica Sargent and fiancée Tracey Trundy; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Andrew and William Sargent, Jessica and Abigail Sargent and Samantha Moore; granddaughter-in-law, Lucinda Sargent; sister, Patricia Walters of PA; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 70 years, Roger on January 12, 2016; an infant son, Bruce; grandsons, Jason Sargent and Douglas Sargent; and brother-in-law, Donald Walters.

Calling hours will be held 1:00-3:00, December 8, 2017 at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St. Ellsworth. Private spring interment will be at Woodbine Cemetery, Ellsworth
