Condolence: I always enjoyed chatting with Dick whenever I stopped in at Shirley's. He had an amazing knack for completing the BDN's crossword puzzles and would ask if I had completed that day's. Usually, my answer was "No." I grew up in Camden, not far from Rockland, Dick's and Shirley's hometown. He was ten years ahead of me. Dick shared some interesting stories of his hometown and I shared a few of mine. I was sorry to not be able to attend the open house held in his memory last Friday. What a fitting place to hold it. I will miss him.
