The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Richard Jones can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I always enjoyed chatting with Dick whenever I stopped in at Shirley's. He had an amazing knack for completing the BDN's crossword puzzles and would ask if I had completed that day's. Usually, my answer was "No." I grew up in Camden, not far from Rockland, Dick's and Shirley's hometown. He was ten years ahead of me. Dick shared some interesting stories of his hometown and I shared a few of mine.

I was sorry to not be able to attend the open house held in his memory last Friday. What a fitting place to hold it. I will miss him.
