Lillian Wilbur (Brodeur )
Bangor, Maine -- Lillian Marion Brodeur Wilbur died peacefully on August 4, 2017. Lillian was born March 14, 1924 in Framingham, MA, a daughter of Louis Albert and Emma Jane Scully Brodeur, one of eleven children.

Following graduation from Millis High School in 1941, she attended Gordon College of Theology and Missions, Boston, MA and in 1942 became Secretary to the President. She was Secretary in the Program in Diploma Nursing, St. Joseph Hospital, Bangor, Maine, and later became Secretary to the Director of Accounting in the Chancellor’s Office of the University of Maine.

She moved to Utah in 1978 and for ten years was employed as Executive Secretary in the Religious Studies Center at Brigham Young University, Provo. In 1989, she was recipient of the “President’s Annual Appreciation Award”.

Lillian married Donald F. Osborne on September 9, 1945; later divorced. She married Evans C. Wilbur on May 5, 1988 in the Provo Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She was a faithful and devoted member of the LDS Church, serving in many callings. She and Evans served in the New Hampshire Manchester Mission for 1989-1990. Lillian lovingly cared for Evans for thirteen years after a stroke incapacitated him. Evans died June 20, 2003.
