Obituary for Morris Pearl Emery
Ellsworth -- Morris Pearl Emery, 80, died June 29, 2017 at an Ellsworth healthcare facility. He was born in Bar Harbor, January 09, 1937, the son of Morris C. and Gladys F. (McFarland) Emery.
When Morris was growing up he lived in Lamoine and attended local schools. He worked for Harold McQuinn for most of his life in construction. He loved to work in the woods and enjoyed the gift of giving during the holidays.
He is survived by his twin sister, Marjorie Linscott who fondly called him “Mighty Mouse” of Ellsworth, sister, Muriel Barker of Bradley; three nieces, Lori Tracy and husband Scott, and Judy Pelletier and husband Scott, Linda Ashmore; and a son, Morris “Mickey” Emery. He was predeceased by his wife Sylvia Kemp Emery and nephew Stephen Barker.
Morris will be sadly missed by all his friends at Meadowview Apartments.
At Morris’s request there will be no service.
