The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Edric Starbird can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: When I saw Rick's obituary, my mind was filled with memories. What a wonderful man he was. Many happy times in Rick and MaryAnn's lovely home are imprinted on my heart, particularly sunrise on January 1, 2000. They are the reason Wally and I came to Bar Harbor. Sending sympathy to the family. Rick is with his beloved MaryAnn.i will always remember them.
