Obituary for Rene King
Millinocket/Ellsworth -- Rene Joseph King, 74, died April 03, 2017 at a Bangor hospital. He was born at home in Millinocket, July 28, 1942 the son of Leo V. and Mamie (Bernier) King.
He was a proud papermaker for 39 years at Great Northern Paper Company. To his family he was a wonderful, kind man who valued hard work, loved family dinners, being in nature and any dog that crossed his path. A simple and humble man, he would want no more to be said.
Rene is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lorena (Deschaine) King of Ellsworth; daughter, Reneé and husband Joey LaCasse of Trenton; beloved grandson, Rene Augustus; and sisters, June, Jackie and Judy. He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Leo, Jr., John and Jim.
Services will be private.
To honor Rene, you can be kind to animals, tend your garden or share a meal with someone in need.
