Obituary for Lois H. Nason

Blue Hill
Lois Hutchinson Nason, 76, of Blue Hill died on Sunday March 1st, 2015 at Blue Hill Memorial Hospital. She was born in Lewiston, May 16, 1938, daughter of Sidney and Lucy (née Hearling) Hutchinson
Lois graduated from Mechanic Falls High School in 1956 and Gorham State Teachers College in 1960. She taught school in Turner and Blue Hill and substituted in area schools. She ended her teaching career in Orland.
Lois was a member of the Blue Hill Congregational Church and Blue Hill Mountain Rebekah Lodge. She will be known for her many hand knitted sweaters, afghans, and latch hook rugs.
She is survived by her husband of over 54 years David H. Nason; three sons, Stephen S. Nason and his wife Lisa of Unity, Russell B. Nason and his wife Laura of Sarasota, FL, Frederick D. Nason and his wife Diane of New Fairfield, CT.; two grandchildren, Daniel and Jonathan Nason of New Fairfield, CT.
The family would like to thank the staff of Ellsworth Davita Dialysis for several years of care and also Dr. Robert Baroody of Blue Hill.
She will be missed by her family and people in the Blue Hill area.
A graveside ceremony will be held on May 16, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at the South Blue Hill Cemetery.
