Judith R. Obbard, 78, died October 30, 2014 in Southwest Harbor. She was born January 30, 1936 the daughter of Philip Garrett and Josephine Eugenia (Eckford) Rhoads.
Judith is survived by her husband Peter B. Obbard; her four children, Catherine E. Obbard, of Cambridge, MA, Philip B. Obbard and wife Andrea, of Albany, CA, Ted G. Obbard and wife Julie, of Berkeley, CA, and Laura C.W.O Brightman and husband Howard, of Cambridge, MA; seven grandchildren, Kyle McBard, Treva and David Obbard, Rachel and Evan Obbard, and Lincoln and Daniel Brightman; a brother William E. Rhoads, of East Windsor, NJ.
A reception will be held from 12noon – 2:00PM, Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Medford Leas, Medford, NJ. A reception on Mt. Desert Island, Maine will be held in the summer of 2015.
Those who desire may make contributions in Judith’s memory to the Arboretum Fund, Medford Leas, One Medford Leas Way, Medford, NJ, 08055.
