Obituary for Marion M. Emery

Bar Harbor
Marion M. Emery, 93, died October 30, 2014 in Harrington. She was born in Trenton, August 18, 1921, the daughter of Jay Shirley and Beatrice Iva (Staires) McFarland.

She is survived by sons, Richard Emery and wife Constance of Franklin, William Emery and wife Judith of Okeechobee, FL.; daughter, Patricia Pawlak-Olson and husband Ronald of Lisbon, CT; nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, brothers, Phillip McFarland and Vernon McFarland, both of FL; the family would like to recognize a special friend, Bertha Higgins. She was predeceased by her husband, Roger K. Emery, April 27, 1992; grandson, Daniel Quigley and great-grandson, Donald Battle, Jr.
Calling hours will be held 10:00-11:00AM, Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Jordan-Fernald, 1139 Main St. (Somesville) Mt. Desert with a funeral service at 11:00AM with Pastor Bob Maddocks officiating. Interment will be held at Mountain View Cemetery, Town Hill following the service.
Contributions in Marion’s memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
