The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Douglas Norwood can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Fr. Norwood Was always considered part of our family. He was the priest at the church where we attended in Black River, with our family. When my parents re-newed their vows on their 60th anniversary along with my 5 other siblings re-newing our vows as well, Fr. Norwood was there for us and conducted a wonderful ceremony. We have so many fond memories of him with our family. Thank you Fr. Norwood, for being such a wonderful, loving person. We will all miss you.

Condolence From: David S
Condolence: I send My prayers and love to the family and friends of Father Norwwod. He is Father Norwood to me and always will be. I remember in our younger days of serving as an Acolyte in the church led by Father Norwood. Days I will never forget and will always treasure. Father Norwood had a super warm heart and was a teacher. He would always say "Remember to" for many things. One I always held to was " Remember to love all children as if you were their father" "Love all with a kindness and an unselfish Love". I kept that in my heart always. Thank you GOD for the Blessing of knowing Father Norwood. All Love to him and family!

Your Friend,

David Hopkins
